"come follow me" -Jesus

i'm not sure that we fully get Jesus. my guess is that a lot of us think that all we need to do is believe in Jesus... or believe that Jesus is better than Buddha, or Mohammed... or think that we need Jesus to take our sins and make us happy people. while most of these are true there's more... a lot more.

Jesus calls us to follow Him, not simply believe in Him. hey, satan believes in Jesus. what Jesus wants, or actually commands is for us to follow Him. to learn what He would do and imitate that in our life what ever the situation.

the first people who hung out with Jesus actually quit their jobs and ditched their friends to walk around and learn from Jesus. they literally followed Him.

i would suggest that He still demands the same from us... not that we literally quit our job and go on a 2 year walk about... but maybe that we would be willing to if He asked us to. instead i think that in every area of life we need to be willing to live like He would. do the things He would do train our selves to respond the way that he would respond.

so i encourage you to ask Jesus how He wants you to follow Him today! see what He says!
